If you’re suitable for treatment, the titanium implant is carefully placed into the jaw under local anaesthetic. Where a natural tooth is still present, it will be gently extracted beforehand. Multiple implants can often be placed in a single appointment, and for nervous patients, IV sedation is also available.

After placement, the implant needs time to fuse with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration, which typically takes three to six months. For full-arch treatments, a temporary resin bridge can be fitted so you can maintain both function and appearance while the implants stabilise.

Once healing is complete, we take precise digital or physical impressions to design your final ceramic crown, bridge, or denture. Each restoration is carefully crafted to match the shape, shade and contour of your natural teeth, creating a seamless appearance and a confident, functional bite. For full-arch treatments, a temporary resin bridge is provided during the healing phase so you can maintain comfort and aesthetics until the final restoration is fitted.

From implant placement through to the finished result, the process usually takes around six to eight months. When complete, your implant functions like a natural tooth: strong, secure and simple to care for.
